Convergys Gets First Contract in China

In a news release, Convergys said it will provide China Unicom Guangdong with its Activation Manager product, which allows the quick set-up of cellular service, assigning phone numbers and activating the service before a customer leaves the store.
Convergys also said it will provide the company with annual maintenance services and development to support new network elements and service offerings. US-based Convergys is a provider of outsourced billing, human resources and customer care services.
