Publishing Association Online Game Committee Starts in China

The National Copyright Administration of China's Audio and Video Department has launched the Publishers Association Online Game Committee of China (PAOGCC) in Beijing.
The committee is tasked with helping to bring order to the industry through self-regulation within the industry. The Publisher's Association od China will takeover administration of the new PAOGCC soon, after regulatory issues are worked out. Companies like Kingsoft, Sohu and Matrix Interactive have participated in the initial discussions of the committee.
