City Telecom (Hong Kong) Ltd. announced this week that they are leaping into the Pay-TV arena by offering up to 11 channels of paid content.
The system has capacity to handle up to 200 channels. The company enters a market already populated by two other companies–Yes TV and TV Plus–and many more telecom companies are expected to join soon. Subscribers to this service will first pay HK$98 a month for the paid content television services.
