World Information Technology Inc., an online, member-created, Internet community operating in Taiwan and mainland China, announced that it has acquired the three websites and other assets acquisition from Shanghai Po-Fan Technology Inc.
World Information has acquired www.cpe.com.cn which provides an introduction to private enterprises, laws and regulation regarding private companies, business association and membership, profiles of small to medium sized enterprises, a kaleidoscope of private enterprises, online advertisement of business opportunities, private enterprise service bureaus, communication with interested parties and Database services.
World Information has also acquired www.shtw.com/www.shtw.cn, a state of the art website providing comprehensive information about how to do business in Shanghai for Taiwanese merchants. Additionally, World Information acquired a website which is currently under construction called www.china-taiwan.com/www.china-taiwan.cn. The site is scheduled to be operational by October 2003. It is intended to facilitate e-commerce for Taiwanese merchants across the entire China region. Computer hardware, furniture and inventory were also included in the asset purchase.
"These e-commerce sites are professionally compiled and in touch with the eager business climate that exists between Taiwan and China," stated Gary Morgan, the Company's Chief Executive Officer.
