Nortel Chosen By China Netcom For Network Expansion

China Netcom has selected Nortel Networks to supply equipment for a network that is expected to provide Qingdao and Jinan–two major cities in Shandong province–with broadband voice, data, video and multimedia services, via Netcom's subsidiary, Shandong Netcom.
No financial details have been released.
