China To Host Agricultural Hi-Tech Fair

    China will host the Tenth China Yangling Agricultural Hi-tech Fair on November 5-9 this year in northwest China's Shaanxi Province, with the theme "Sciences and Technologies, Innovation, Industrialization."

    The hi-tech forum, the centerpiece of the fair, will focus on China's agriculture and the development of China's rural economy, both experiencing changes under new conditions in the country.

    The fair is one of the four most influential scientific expositions in the country and is sponsored by the provincial government of Shaanxi, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Education. The coordinators include the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization and the World Bank.
