StarEastNet Enters Strategic Partnership With Newpalm Information Technology

Telecom Communications, Inc. recently announced that its company, StarEastNet Limited, has entered an agreement to form a strategic partnership with Newpalm (China) Information Technology Company, Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hongkong.com.
Chinadotcom is holding 81.37% of Hongkong.com. Under the agreement, StarEastNet will utilize its pool of celebrities and their artistic resources, in conjunction with Newpalm's development of Short Messaging Service (SMS), Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) and Coloring Ring Back Tone service. Newpalm will provide the technical platform and promote these new services to its Palm users.
Commenting on the partnership, Fred Deng, CEO and Chairman of Telecom Communications said: "We are very pleased to have this opportunity to partner with Newpalm, the leading provider of both mobile Internet enabling technology and application services. Newpalm has established favorable relations with the main telecom services provider in China such as China Mobile and China Unicom, and they have extensive experiences in the SMS, WAP and other value-added services field. We are confident this venture will be an extremely profitable one for both companies."
