The carriers' carrier division of T-Systems, International Carrier Sales & Solutions (ICSS) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China's largest fixed-line operator, China Telecom to re-sell each other's bandwidth capacities via each other's networks to other carriers. This effectively extends both parties' networks.
The MoU allows T-Systems and China Telecom to offer end-to-end bandwidth capacity to each other's network. T-Systems is one of the first to establish such an end-to-end full circuit arrangement with China Telecom for transport service into any destination in China or globally. Customers anywhere in the world can use this service from T-Systems or China Telecom, with a single order, bill and contact point for all after-sales customer support.
The agreement enhances opportunities and reach for the partners, by using the extensive international and national networks of both companies. It provides China Telecom global reach via T-Systems' Telekom Global Net and extends T-Systems' coverage in China. The two partners are currently exploring other possible areas of co-operation for future bandwidth and network requirements.
