Rogers Corporation To Open Busbar Plant In China

Rogers Corporation recently announced that it plans to open a busbar (power distribution component) manufacturing plant in Suzhou, China.
The facility is being established to satisfy the requirements of Rogers' Asian customers for local manufacturing. This production facility is expected to be operational by the end of 2004 and will be part of the already existing Rogers manufacturing campus in Suzhou. The project will be managed by Rogers' busbar technical center and primary manufacturing facility in Gent, Belgium.
Rogers Corporation, headquartered in Rogers, CT, U.S.A., develops and manufactures high-performance specialty materials, which serve a diverse range of markets including: wireless communications, computers and networking, imaging, transportation and consumer.
