BOC Edwards announced today it has signed Nanjing Mucop Nanfen Special Gas Company as a distributor for its special gases products. Nanfen will market the products to the semiconductor, research and other select industries in northern China.
The agreement, signed in December, will complement BOC Edwards' existing special gases joint venture and other distributor channels as it expands its presence in the Chinese market. Nanfen will handle distribution of several specialty gases, including hydrogen chloride and silane, commonly used in the microelectronics manufacturing arena.
In commenting on the new agreement, John C. Chen, director of Nanjing Mucop Nanfen said, "we are very pleased to be working with an established global leader in special gases, and look forward to the products and support BOC Edwards can bring to the growing Chinese market."
