Starting with the joint efforts and resources-adjustment taking place with 3721 in February, Yahoo China has finally begun to do something after nearly three years' silence.
On February 17, Yahoo declared that it would no longer be using Google's search engine due to latter's slow response times. Two weeks later, on March 1, Yahoo formally cancelled its cooperative efforts with Baidu, another search engine in China.
Yahoo China was previously something of a silent player in China until the its acquisition of 3721 at the end of last year, from which it has acquired the admission ticket it needs to the domestic market. In addition, it has also purchased a number of other companies with a huge amount of capital in order to prepare to take hold once more of its power-base.
