Yesterday, China's Electronic Patent Application System was formally opened and successfully handled the first electronic patent application which was submitted by Yongxin Patent & Trademark Agency for its client's "Drive Circuit for Semiconductor Laser".
The China Electronic Patent Application System is a key project in the State Intellectual Property Administration's Tenth Five-year Plan covering informatization construction. The SIPA believes that the launch of this system "symbolizes that China's intellectual property management has stepped up to a new level".
