Five Companies Accused Of Violating Founder's IPR

Five Beijing companies have been accused of illegally installing and using Founder's system software for profit-making without the latter's approval.
The case was brought to the court by Founder Group and Beijing Red Mansion Computer Science & Technology Institute, accusing the companies of violating computer software copyright, and demanding that they cease action at once, make suitable apologies, and provide compensation.
The accusers require the five defendants to pay economic losses amounting to between CNY 61,000 to CNY120,000. In addition, Founder has asked each of the defendants to pay CNY 9,500 for notary, evidence, and legal fees. The case is now being reviewed by Haidian District People's Court.
