Hinge/Viador Provides IBM DB2 Linux-Based Business Intelligence Offering

Hinge Software Co., Ltd., a China-based international software company, and Viador Inc., a Business Intelligence Technology company for J2EE and Linux, today announced an initiative to provide the Hinge/Viador Business Intelligence offering with IBM DB2 Universal Database on Linux.
This bundle will be offered on Turbo Linux for the China market, branded as Hinge BI, and on Red Hat Linux for the U.S. market, branded as Viador BI. During the past year, Viador has made an investment of nearly $1 million to integrate its platform with IBM's DB2-based offerings including, DB2 Cube Views, DB2 Information Integrator and DB2 on Linux, as well with WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere Portal. Additionally, Viador has chosen DB2 for its development platform, meaning that Viador will lead with DB2 as its strategic platform for internal and external applications.
