i2 Technologies, Inc., a provider of end-to-end supply chain solutions, today announced that ZTE Corporation (ZTE), one of the telecom network equipment suppliers in China, has selected i2 to deploy its Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions.
ZTE has experienced high growth in the last five years, and sales revenue reached more than $3 billion US dollars in 2003. ZTE selected i2 SCM as a key component of its strategic IT investment plan, formulated to help ZTE address its growth and achieve its goal of building a world class telecom manufacturing supply chain. This implementation plan calls for implementation of i2's Demand Planner, Supply Chain Planner, Factory Planner, Demand Fulfillment and Supply Chain Collaboration modules with i2's Common Integration Services platform and the integration of that entire suite with ZTE's existing implementation of Oracle ERP. ZTE intends to implement the i2 solutions as part of i2's high technology template.
