Zoran Corporation announced that its SupraTV processor is powering the first free-to-air satellite set-top box product from TCL International Holdings Limited.
TCL's first model, the DVB39150, in a family of satellite set-top boxes will be demonstrated in TCL Booth B2305 and Zoran Booth 3602 at China Cable Broadcasting Network 2004 (CCBN) starting today in Beijing.
TCL's new satellite set-top box features include: Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) compliant audio and video decoding, satellite channel autoscan, and support for up to 3000 channels with channel and satellite search options. The new DVB39150 supports composite and S-Video outputs, along with stereo audio, infra-red remote, RF input and output. Additional new products in the product line will support an Electronic Programming Guide (EPG), dual SCART, rich 16 bit per pixel graphics, and the DVB-CI (Common Interface) Module.
