Sina.com Appoints New Board Directors

Sina Corporation over the weekend announced the appointments of Xiaotao Chen and Songyi Zhang to its Board of Directors. The appointments are effective immediately.
Mr. Chen has been the President and executive director of Stone Holdings Limited, a Hong-Kong listed company since 2001. Prior to that, he was the vice-president of Stone Group, a China company.
Mr. Zhang is an Advisory Director of Morgan Stanley based in Hong Kong. Until the end of 2000, Song-Yi was a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley based in Hong Kong and served separately as a Managing Director in its Asia Mergers, Acquisitions, Restructuring and Divestiture Group.
"Both Xiaotao and Songyi will bring valuable management experience and China market knowledge to Sina," said Daniel Chiang, Co-Chairman of Sina.com. "We are excited to have them join our board and provide strategic guidance to fuel Sina's long-term growth."
