China Ranks Second In Number Of Internet Users

The number of Internet users in China reached 80 million in 2003, ranking second in the world and next only to the US.
The latest report on China's Internet prepared by Morgan Stanley suggests that China will become No. 1 within five years. The report continues that Internet caters for needs of the Chinese youngsters, and the cost is bearable. Most importantly, mobile phones can be connected with Internet, with the result that Chinese users are able to send short message, play online games, retrieve information and contact with others via Internet.
