Electronics distributors in China are expecting surging revenue growth this year, according to a survey by Global Sources.
The research found that 67% of distributors surveyed expect revenues to grow by 20% in 2004. The vast bulk of distributors are planning to increase their focus on the country's consumer electronics sector. Non-mainland distributors said their biggest challenge in the country was erratic purchasing behavior, and that they would look to strike alliances or explore emerging markets to get round this.
