Microsoft, Sichuan Changhong Sign Pact

Microsoft has signed a strategic cooperation pact with Sichuan Changhong Electric Appliances Co., China's top television maker, according to the Shanghai Securities News.
According to the paper, Changhong will receive advanced IT technology and software to develop digital TV sets and other high-technology products, and Microsoft will gain Changhong's help in developing its China business. Beyond this, not further details are available.
Changhong claims to be the world's number two maker of color TVs after Samsung.
