Microsoft Buys Stake In Digital China

    Microsoft has agreed to establish a global strategic tie-up with Digital China Holdings, a domestic IT distributor and software company.

    Digital China said the companies had signed a memorandum of understanding to work together in various fields, including software technician training, research and development, and the design of industry solutions products. After the deal, Microsoft and Digital China will jointly research and develop software applications to a number of sectors in China, involving customs, telecoms and taxation system processes.
