The local media are reporting that China Mobile may consider using TD-SCDMA if the procurement price is reasonable.
Heyin, an investment bank which has a contract with China Mobile, has said that if the price for 3G equipment is acceptable, then the company will consider adopting the domestically made TD-SCDMA system. If all goes well, TD-SCDMA 3G mobile phones will be commercialized before June 2005.
