TOM Partners With Music Companies

TOM Online, the Chinese mobile Internet company, today announced that it has established partnerships with major international music labels and music publishers such as Sony Music Entertainment, EMI, Warner Chappell, Universal Music Publishing and BMG.
These partnerships will allow TOM Online to feature music contents from these music companies over TOM Online's nationwide wireless Internet distribution platform in China. Under these partnerships, TOM Online users can get access to songs, music contents as well as enjoy other wireless features such as celebrity information and voice greetings, images and ringtone, true tone, ringback tone, mobile karaoke and music video clip download under the partnered music labels and publishers via TOM Online's wireless Internet platform including WAP and IVR.
TOM Online has also gained the exclusive right to market music recording applications by Jay Chow, the most popular singer in the Greater China region on its WAP, ringback tone and interactive voice response (IVR) platform, offering 24/7 music entertainment to hundreds of millions of mobile users in China. Furthermore, a wide portfolio of songs, images, videos and other entertainment contents from Jay Chow can also be accessed via TOM Online's wireless Internet platform. Jay Chow is the spokesperson of M-Zone, a sub-brand of China Mobile, which offers WVAS contents to the young and trendy demographics.
