American IDC To Provide Broadband Internet Television In China

American IDC Corporation will launch its Broadband Internet Television (BIT) system in China and through an expanded agreement with ETV Inc., and its Chinese affiliates, is destined to become the first BIT provider in China.
Earlier this year, the company launched the first full-screen broadband digital streaming channel on the Internet featuring Hollywood Classic movies 24/7 in "high definition" quality. "Many enhanced, or value added services from downloading content 'on the fly' to providing nationwide interactive live TV will be standard options for the Chinese TV stations that go online with us," states Gordon Lee, American IDC CEO. "American IDC will enable the Chinese television stations to provide the Chinese public with interactive national networks via the Internet.
