China Unicom announced yesterday through Xinhua that the telecom giant has severed relationships with 45 Internet Service Providers (ISP) who are involved in pornographic message services in China.
China Unicom is also launching investigations into all services charging more than CNY15 per month to see if those services have any pornographic-related services.
Unicom's competitor, China Mobile, has also launched crackdowns on both pornography and spam over its wireless networks.
