Added to a long list of companies also recently suspended by China Mobile for infractions ranging from pornography to spam, Chinadotcom's Go2joy.com's mobile business has been halted.
Go2joy.com was acquired by Chinadotcom two months ago for approximately US$60 mln.
Interfax is reporting that documents show Go2joy was suspended as of August 10 and the company was also found guilty of overcharging users. China Mobile has ordered G02joy to repay those fees to users.
China Mobile also says Go2joy.com will not be able to provide SMS services until the company has placed its mobile services on China Mobile's own platform.
