AsiaInfo Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: ASIA), a provider of software, solutions and services to telecom operators and enterprises in China, today announced that it has signed a contract with Dalian Port Corporation Limited (Dalian Port Corp.) to implement AsiaInfo's electronic human resources (e-HR) solution to manage its workforce.
The contract marks AsiaInfo's first entry into China's port industry.
AsiaInfo's e-HR software system is a human resources information management system designed to support the human resource and organization management of corporations of all sizes. The system is designed to facilitate the entire HR process including recruitment, compensation, benefit administration, performance appraisal, training, and competence management of Dalian Port Corp.'s over 20,000 employees. In addition to operational support, AsiaInfo's e-HR solution will allow for strategic human resources planning and decision making by providing online reporting and analysis functions. The system will also provide Dalian Port Corp. employees with the ability to access information online.
