It is being reported that the Ministry of Information Industry will unite with other departments to have a "net" check over all voice service stations that hold licenses.
The move, which will last until the National Day holiday, has first been initiated in Hebei province where eight voice stations have so far received an administrative punishment for breaking relevant rules.
There are, however, more than 600 voice service stations across the country and in the face of such extensive regional distribution, the checks will continue after the October 1 holiday. Meanwhile, an efficient long-term supervising mechanism will also be established to ensure an orderly and healthy development of the industry.
