Zoran Corporation (Nasdaq: ZRAN) announced that its SupraTV processor powers new digital cable home terminals, also known as set top boxes, for the China market built by DVN (Holdings) Ltd. (DVN) and targeted for the Chinese market.
DVN's STB8 product, currently being released to selected Cable operators in China, uses software from both Zoran and DVN running on Zoran's SupraTV integrated digital standard definition TV processor, and includes DVN's JetCAS conditional access, real-time stock quotation and short text message services, plus an HTML browser.
