Kingsoft, one of China's developers of computer virus detection and removal software, has warned that it has identified a new variation of the MYDOOM virus in China, which is probably spreading rapidly in the country.
They say the new virus was spreading abroad as early as the 9th of September. Analysts say it is possible that the virus writer wants to take advantage of the 9-11 anniversary to launch the attack.
The new MYDOOM can steal private information, send infected E-mail to mail servers and render user's computers useless.
