Yesterday, the Game Commission of the China Youth Network Association announced its establishment and formally publicized the "China Youth Network Association Green Game Standard".
This is the first attempt to grade games that are promoted in China, and sets out five fixed categories of banned content, including violence, pornography and terrorism. as well as seven flexible categories, such as cultural content.
Each category is divided into three grades, which serves as a reference to the three age groups of game players: junior high school players, senior high school players and players over the age of 18. All games suitable for people under 18 are referred to as Green Games.
