Wipro Completes First SAP Implementation For Olympus Beijing Sales Office

    Wipro Technologies the global IT services division of Wipro Limited (NYSE:WIT), has successfully completed its first SAP implementation in China for Olympus (Beijing) Sales & Service Company (OCM).

    OCM awarded the SAP FICO implementation to Wipro Technologies across 4 new locations in mainland China. The new IT system enables OCM with complete automation and integration of their financial and management reporting system. The new system further provides the application infrastructure required to support OCM's expansion strategy across China.

    To expedite the implementation, Wipro created the conceptual design of the future business process and systems, using Wipro's domain SAP specialists with knowledge on the Chinese legal system. The team successfully implemented a template based approach to standardize business processes across Asia which has laid a foundation for OCM to be enhanced on SAP module in future.
