Former Engineer Suspected Of Spreading Pornography Online

Today, Beijing No. 1 Secondary People's Court will hear a new case concerning the spreading of pornography over the Internet.
Of the four defendants involved, one is a Mr. Liang Hongbin, a graduate of computer science who used to work as an engineer at Wang Zhi Yi Company. Mr. Liang is accused of spreading erotic films via a website which he operated with a partner.
This case is said to be the first and the largest of it's kind since a new ruling was made on September 5 regarding the spreading of potentially harmful articles and information online.
