Intellisync Launches Beijing Office

Intellisync Corporation (NASDAQ: SYNC), a developer and marketer of wireless software solutions for the worldwide mobile communications industry, today announced the opening of a corporate office in Beijing to support its increasing activities with mobile carriers and device manufacturers in the China and Asia-Pacific markets.
In conjunction with the office launch, Intellisync also announced its participation in the Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) standards interoperability TestFest taking place Oct. 18-22, 2004 in Beijing.
The OMA TestFest in Beijing is seen as an important event in the mobility market. OMA will facilitate GSM and GPRS testing using live-air at 900 MHz within the China Mobile network in Beijing. Intellisync will be certifying its mobile carrier-based data synchronization and device management product portfolio for compliance with the OMA Client Provisioning v1.1 and OMA SyncML DM v1.1.2 standards.
