Informatica Signs Agreement With Digital China

Informatica Corporation (NASDAQ: INFA), a provider of data integration software, today announced that it is expanding its market presence in the greater China region to address the growing demand for data integration solutions.
This includes signing a distributor agreement with Digital China Holdings, the information technology distribution and solutions company, and plans to open an office in Beijing.
Initially, Informatica and Digital China will focus on opportunities for leveraging Informatica data integration solutions in the telecommunications, financial, manufacturing and governmental markets. Informatica plans to localize its data access, data integration and business visualization products for the Chinese market.
Informatica currently has more than 35 customers in China, including the China Export and Credit Insurance Corp., China Merchants Bank, China Mobile, China National Tax Bureau, China Telcom, China Unicom, COSCO Shanghai, Guangdong Development Bank, HongKong Hospital Authority, HongKong Security Exchange, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Sony Shanghai and Taikang Insurance.
