The Ministry of Culture has asked all cultural departments at various levels to investigate and ban a network game called "Soccer Manager 2005", also known as "Champion Soccer Manager 2005".
The Ministry says the game contains information harmful to "China's sovereignty and territorial integrity" by listing Taipei, Hong Kong and Macao as independant states and ranking Tibet as "Chinese Tibet", thereby giving it equal status to the People's Republic of China.
The Ministry of Culture says once someone is found to be distributing the game via the Internet, that person will be severely punished.
Currently the game is not openly published in China, and it has no Chinese version.
