Digitalchina and Beijing's Haidian District Government yesterday made a joint announcement that the "e-political affairs information source service platform" has been formally started.
According to the agreement, Digitalchina will be responsible for constructing the platform for Beijing's Haidian District government and participate in the e-political affairs of the District.
The platform will integrate various resources of Haidian District into a unified and secure public information platform to help realize the sharing of information among government, enterprises and citizens.
This platform will hopefully enhance the transparency of the local government's work by transferring the government's role of being a "manager" to a "management service provider".
