The China Finance Certification Authority (CFCA) has established business relations with more than 20 banks, 16 securities dealers and 13 fund operators for the purpose of protecting online usernames and passwords.
Once the banks and online businesses are granted digital certification, CFCA will be able to compensate online victims of fraud.
The maximum sum for top-class certificate holders is CNY800000, ordinary enterprise users can be reimbursed CNY500000 and individuals can receive up to CNY20000 in insurance payments.
