Hitachi Accuses Magicstor Of Patent Violations

Hitachi Global Storage Technologies, a joint venture between Japan's Hitachi and US-based IBM, has launched a lawsuit in the US against China's Magicstor, accusing Magicstor of violating several Hitachi patents.
Hitachi is seeking a permanent injunction barring Magicstor from creating or selling any technologies that incorporate the infringed items.
The amount of compensation that Hitachi is asking to receive has not been disclosed.
