A week before China's Lunar New Year holiday causes a surge in travel, Capital Railway Online's Internet booking site is having trouble keeping up with demand.
Capital Railway's website at 036.com.cn has an intermittent outages since it started selling rail tickets on January 30. Users are finding it difficult to login and the company has been inundated with user complaints.
Capital Railway has remained silent on the number of bookings it has sold, but it says it is working to rectify the problem.
