Datang Mobile And Simcom Partner On TD-SCDMA Terminal Business

Datang Mobile, founder and pioneer of China's TD-SCDMA technology standard, and Chenxun Technology have formally announced that Datang Mobile will partner with Simcom, an affiliate of Chenxun Technology, on TD-SCDMA development.
Datang Mobile will provide Simcom with its commercial terminal solutions, which are regarded among the most mature in the industry. The deal will also include the development of top level protocol stackware Meco, application platform Arena, basic application software Garnet, and other necessary tools and references.
It is expected that by adopting Datang's solutions, Simcom will serve as a bridge between terminal chip manufacturers and terminal whole machine producers.
