In order to hasten acceptance of the "Public Email Service Regulations" of the Internet Society of China (ISC), the first "National Email Server Administrator Training Program" was held yesterday and today in Beijing's Tsinghua University.
The ISC's Anti-Spam Coordination Team, Tsinghua University Network and the Ministry of Information Industry worked with Symantec to bring forty high-level technicians from companies like China Telecom, Sohu, Sina, and Tom.com to the training session.
Experts from international organizations like Spamhaus presented best practices to the participants. It is hoped that through this training, the technicians will get a better understanding of the email service industry and be able to deal with emergencies involving spam, viruses, phishing, and hacking attempts.
