Dawning has made a splash into China's high-end server market with the launch this week of a new 8 CPU double core server.
The appearance of this new server means that Chinese domestic firms will be able to use a full series of China-made double core products ranging from 2 CPU, 4 CPU to 8 CPU. It also marks a historical turning point in China's national server industry, symbolizing that Chinese server products will be more competitive on the international market.
The new server, with its double core, can actually have 16 CPUs synchronously working together. Dawning has already released ten types of double core servers globally.
