Cyberport Opens Online Gaming Internship Program

The Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company has announced that its Digital Entertainment Internship Program (DEIP) has opened for people interested in working in the online gaming, entertainment, and animation sectors.
DEIP started accepting applications on April 29 for local companies in the digital entertainment industry and
local education institutions, and the closing date is June 15.
The DEIP is sponsored by the Office of Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) for local digital entertainment companies to further develop their business in Hong Kong. Under this program, participating companies will receive a monthly subsidy of $4000 for each intern engaged under the program for a maximum of 12 months. Any single company may receive up to 5 internship placements at one time.
Interns will receive on-job training and be able to expose to the real-life working environment of the digital entertainment industry. Prospective students can visit http://intern.cyberport.hk
