Joyo Closes Shanghai And Guangzhou Marketing Departments

According to local media reports, Chinese e-commerce website Joyo.com has closed its Shanghai and Guangzhou marketing departments following the dismissal of executives Lin Shuixing and Chen Nian. The closures will most likely affect up to 30 company personnel.
From now on, the Shanghai and Guangzhou company branches will each serve as regional logistics and storage centers.
The news has mostly been confirmed by an announcement Joyo made on its website. The notice says that from June 28, the Shanghai and Guangzhou Client Service telephone numbers will be transferred to Beijing.
