Shanghai To Host First EVD Theatres

Zhang Baoquan, president of Jindian Group, has disclosed that his company will invest CNY3 billion in the coming years to build 200,000 digital theatres across China, and he has chosen Shanghai as the testing ground.
Shanghai will initially have 8-25 EVD theatres.
Zhang says he is cooperating with the China Film Corporation and Huaxia Film, but he did not give details of the cooperation.
