Okasan Establishes Software Joint Venture With University

Japan's Okasan Information Systems, together with East China Normal University, has established a joint venture firm for computer software development and system solutions in Shanghai.
Capitalized at US$143,000, Shanghai Okasan-Huada Computer System will respond to the rapidly emerging needs for computer systems in China, as well as in Japan and other Asian countries.
The joint venture is owned 40% held by Okasan Information Systems, 20% by the university, and 40% held by a group of professors of the university.
