Computer Associates Names New China Managing Director

Computer Associates (CA) has named Alan Leong as new managing director of CA China, responsible for managing CA's business in the region.
Leong reports directly to Eric-Yves Mahe, vice president of CA's Asia North region.
With more than 15 years of success in the IT industry, Leong has an in-depth knowledge of both direct and indirect sales business models, as well as a track record of success in expanding into new markets and building account relationships.
Prior to CA, Leong served as the Asia South service sales director of Sun Microsystems where he and his team delivered 20 consecutive quarters of growth and built a strong and profitable business model.
Before joining Sun, Leong was country director for EMC Singapore where he expanded EMC's presence in vertical industries. In addition, Leong also held various management positions in Sun Microsystems, Hewlett-Packard and Singapore Computer Systems from which he accumulated rich experience in business development and vertical industry development.
Leong earned a postgraduate degree in business administration and a bachelor's degree of electrical and electronics engineering from the National University of Singapore.
