Dell Plans China Expansion

Dell (DELL) will open a second factory in Xiamen which will be the company's third largest manufacturing site worldwide.
The new factory, scheduled to be operational in the first quarter of 2006, will double Dell's PC output in the country.
Sales will focus on China and the northeast Asian markets of South Korea and Japan. Mainland China is Dell's fourth largest market. Rollins was quoted by the newspaper saying the firm will increase its investment in the years ahead.
Dell is celebrating its seventh anniversary and 10 millionth PC manufactured in China.
