China's RFID market scale reached CNY226 million in the second quarter of 2005, more than double that of the same period of 2004.
The results come via market research company Analysys, which says that the overall issuance of the second generation ID cards is the main reason for the quick market increase.
Analysys believes that the Chinese government's own use of RFID has taken the majority of recent RFID applications.
